Monday Update

Hey Everyone, No huge changes with Noah and Eli today so far - which in many ways is a good thing. Eli has been on a slow uphill climb and continues to progress, even if at times it seems painfully slow. He is off the Epinephrine and his Dopamine and Dobutamine are each at 5. His urine output has been boosted with the help of Lasix. His labs have been decent and his Ventilator has been weaned down to 25 breaths per minutes. All of these are small, but positive changes. He still looks really puffy as he has retained a lot of water. When looking at both Eli and Noah it is hard to imagine that Eli was born weighing less than Noah. For now we choose not to show pictures of Eli because of his condition and the emotional toll involved. Noah is doing well. He's also taking his time to come around. He still is not interested in eating and has somewhat erratic breathing. He is a cute one though and has been staying awake for longer and longer every day. Today he had his eyes open for almost 45 minutes. I've attached a picture below. Thanks again for everyone's prayers and kind words. We never imagined that we had so many people who care so much about our family.

Good to hear the boys are doing better. Just keep looking forward to the day that you can take them both home and enjoy life as a family of 4! You are in our prayers.
