Random tidbits

Noah's tidbits

• He tells me when he has to poop. He gets a very serious look on his face, pats the front of his diaper, and says, “Poo, poo.” We’re getting closer to potty training!
•  He is super concerned about his and other peoples’ boo-boos. He scrunches up his eyebrows, points to the injury, and repeatedly says, “Boo-boo, boo-boo.”
•  He loves Jack-o-lanterns and calls them “happy.” Grandma bought one of those inflatable decorations for her front yard that has four “happies” stacked on top of each other. Noah has to visit them every day. We inflated it tonight and the boys both proceeded to do their happy dance, screaming and jumping and running around in circles in the front yard.
•  He loves pointing out colors and pretty much knows them all: boo (blue), yeh-yo (yellow), red (pronounced without the “D” at the end), why (white), puh-po (purple), and orange (I don’t remember how he pronounces it). Green is always yellow for some reason.
•  He is very particular about the way things should be. When I am giving the boys food or sippy cups I have to let Noah pick which one he wants, otherwise he always wants the one Eli got. 

Eli's tidbits

• We always say Eli was born with a death wish. He has a way of being the one to get into dangerous things. One day he walked out the front door at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and then proceeded to follow Aiko into the road. We quickly realized he was missing and discovered a back up of cars and a man carrying Eli to safety. Talk about a heart attack. He is also the one that got into weed killer and climbed to the top of a ladder.
• He is accident prone. Eli always gets nasty boo-boos. Last week he fell outside and hit his cheek on a cinder block. Blood was dripping down his face and he ended up with a slight black eye. All week he pointed to his cheek saying “boo-boo” wanting me to kiss it better. When Noah points out boo-boos on himself, Eli magically has a boo-boo in the same place. A kiss is required.
• He says “no” a lot. It is so cute how he says it though. It’s very drawn out and nasally.
• He loves opening bottles. He is an expert at screwing caps off bottles which has resulted in many spilled drinks.
• He is obsessed with the movie Bugs Life and asks for it all the time. We have DVD players in the car and I can always get him to go to the car by promising him “Bugs.” When he is upset he asks for “Bugs.”
