Long awaited update

So we had an appointment with the pediatrician on Friday. Eli was scheduled for 1:ooPM and Noah for 1:20 PM. We were in the actual doctor's office (not waiting) until close to 4:00PM. It took so long partly because we see a pediatrician inside the University of Kentucky Clinic's internal medicine department. We saw a med student, the resident and the attending. All the news was pretty good though. Both Eli and Noah are growing fine for now and there were no other big issues. We will know more about Eli's esophogus when we do the dye study with pediatric surgery later next month and we should know more about Eli's kidney condition after the Renal appointment this week. In other news Amanda and I have decided that we need to wean Eli and Noah off of being held all the time. It is just too much for us to handle having to hold them all of the time. We decided to devote this up coming week to the task, but it has been a rocky start. Earlier tonight we fed both of them, bathed them, changed their diapers and swaddled them. They of course promptly fell asleep in our arms. We decided to put them in the crip after they had been asleep for about fifteen minutes. Sadly, Eli woke up one minute after putting him in the crip and Noah woke up two minutes after putting him in the crib. They have been crying ever since. I am listening to crying right now. Luckily I am getting better at tuning it out (is that a horrible thing to say?). My mom says I was a pretty fussy baby. Karma.
