He's done it again

If I had to sum Eli up in one word it would be "klutz!" He is seriously so clumsy. He falls 10 times more than Noah and gets injured just as frequently. For example, Eli has probably had 6 bloody lips, Noah has had 1. This is now the second time he has fallen on the pavement and scraped his head. It happened today at the park. He was walking down the sidewalk and decided he was going to run away from me (this is one of his favorite things to do, if he thinks you are coming to get him he giggles, throws his arms up in the air, and takes off in the other direction). Well of course as soon as he started to run his feet got in the way and he face planted into the sidewalk (evidenced by the scrape on his forehead and red mark on his nose).

He quickly got over it as dad distracted him with the slide. The boys were having fun climbing up to the top of the play structure where their dad was ready to help them slide down the twisty slide. I was waiting at the bottom to catch them. Not 2 seconds after Aaron declared, "Last time!" Eli face planted again. This time he fell right into the edge of the step, leaving a red mark on his cheek. Poor kid. He really is just a big klutz!
