Happy half-birthday to Noah and Eli

So anyone whose LDS knows that 18 months is a huge milestone. The reason? Nursery! Church has been miserable for the last few months; we could make it about half way through Sunday School and just call it quits and head home. But now we have freedom! After Sacrament meeting we took the boys to the nursery and dropped them off without any fuss. They immediately found a push toy to play with a took off, so Aaron and I took off as well. We enjoyed the next 2 hours of church child free and it was heavenly ;)

And here they are after church. The Bishop gives all the kids Tootsie Pops at the end of church so when I walked into the nursery, Noah and Eli were sitting on the floor enjoying their suckers. They enjoyed their suckers so much that we couldn't take them away without much screaming and gnashing of teeth. Noah had one of those long, sleepless nights last night and he woke up at 6am so he was very tired on the way home. We were hoping they would stay awake on the way home so we could wash off all the stickiness before putting them down but Noah didn't make it. He actually fell asleep with his eyes open, his face glistening with sticky sucker goo, and his sucker (the actual sucker not the stick) resting in his hand. After their nap we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather (nearly 60 degrees!) and went to the park. The boys had so much fun sliding down and trying to climb up the slides. It was pretty fun except for the posse of cussing black women sitting on the benches "watching" their kids. I wasn't sad when they had to leave.

We have now concluded the night with a bath which consisted of floating turds in the tub and Eli peeing on the floor. I hope the sleeping goes better tonight. Wish us luck!
