Goodbye 20s

It's Aaron's birthday today, and he is the big 3-0! He spent it just the way he wanted to - doing absolutely nothing! He crawled out of bed a little before 11 this morning. We ate left over cake for breakfast. He read in the bath. We went out for Thai food and got cupcakes from a local bakery that won the Cupcake Wars. We came home and cleaned up the house some. He played video games with the boys. He took a couple hour long nap. We played some more games. We ate pizza for dinner. And some more video games.

Definitely an Aaron sort of day! He works hard though every other day. He definitely deserves a day of nothing. I crocheted him a scarf for his birthday upon his request and forced him to go out with me the other night for a new pair of shoes. When Aaron finds a pair of shoes he likes he wears them until they are unwearable. His shoes had holes in them (and were embarrassing me!). Although it was pretty uneventful, I think it was the perfect birthday for him. I can't wait to spend the rest of his birthdays doing absolutely nothing with him!
