We spent the week at the beach house. I can't believe how much different the house looks. When the family first inherited the house it was in pretty bad repair. Now it is gorgeous. It was so relaxing just hanging around the house by the fire, playing games with company, and building puzzles.
We had several visitors throughout the week. Ben came for a day and it was great catching up with him. Aunt Wendy came for a day and night. Charles came for a short visit. Uncle Marc, Aunt Joan, and their son Bryce came for a night and we played games. Uncle Alan, Aunt Lisa and their family came for an evening and stayed the night. They unfortunately didn't stay long the next day because Deb woke up with food poisoning. She was pretty sick for an entire day. We spent New Year's Eve visiting with Al and Lisa again and Uncle Pete and then we spent the evening at Aunt Wendy's house.
Aaron put on a wet suit and tried to get up on the paddle board. It was super windy all week so the waves were pretty big. He fell a lot. He said it was like instant brain freeze when his head went under the water.
