Christmas Eve

 Great Grandpa, Grandma, and the boys in Great Grandpa's work shop. It is full of wooden planes and all sorts of fun stuff.

We spent Christmas Eve at Aaron's grandparent's house in Raymond, WA. It's a little logging town on the water. We got there on the 23rd just in time for pizza and cookie decorating. On Christmas Eve the whole Coomer crew (minus Marc and Joan) came for dinner, stockings, and presents. The house isn't that big so it was pretty full with 30 people in it. It was nice to have everyone together. I think everyone was especially excited to see how big the boys have gotten and to meet Sarah. It was also exciting to get to meet Aaron's cousin Adam's new wife and daughter. However, we were disappointed that Aaron's sister, brother-in-law and niece, Josie, decided not to join us for the festivities. It would have been nice to meet Josie and see her and Sarah together since they are only 20 days apart.

 Noah was sad because he couldn't play football with the big boys.

 Eli was sad because Grandma was following him around keeping him from playing with all of Great Grandpa's fun stuff.

Stockings get a little out of hand with the Coomers. It started when Aaron and all the cousin were kids with stockings being stuffed with free stuff. They would all collect things over the year and use that to cheaply fill the stockings up. Over the years it has grown to just pure craziness. The stockings are all filled with cheaply bought stuff and there are always overflow bags because there is too much stuff for the stockings. It is probably the funnest part of Christmas Eve seeing what cool gadgets and gizmos you got in your stocking. Halfway through opening his stocking Eli declared he was too tired to open anymore presents!

 Sarah with her Great Uncle Tom. Tom and Sally were nice and let us borrow their 12 passenger van all week. We also crashed in their "apartment" over their garage our first and last nights in Washington. Thanks guys!

 Sarah is excited to open her pile of presents from Great Aunt Wendy. She made her the most beautiful quilt, pink and brown to match Sarah's bedroom. I'll have to take a picture of it to post. I love it!
